The TRM (Tous Terrains à Roues Motrices, all-wheel-drive off-road truck) is a family of military trucks produced by Renault, which has equipped the French army from 1983 to the present. There are two main versions:
- TRM 2000: a light 4x4 truck, 2-tonne payload, fitted with a Renault MIDS 615 engine producing 105 hp. Used as a liaison and light transport vehicle.
- TRM 10000: a heavy 6x6 truck, 10-tonne payload (or 11 tonnes off-road), Renault MIDS 620 engine producing 214 hp. It is the main logistics truck of the French army.
TRMs are renowned for their ruggedness, ease of maintenance and the availability of spare parts. They are highly valued in Africa for their suitability to dirt roads and their longevity.
