RHD (Right-Hand Drive)

Vehicle with right-hand drive (driver sits on the right).

Full glossary

RHD (Right-Hand Drive) refers to a vehicle whose driver's position is on the right. This configuration is used in countries that drive on the left: United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Kenya, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi, Tanzania, etc.

For African buyers in formerly British English-speaking countries, RHD vehicles are often mandatory. Lys Tout Terrain holds a limited stock of RHD vehicles, mainly of British origin (UK army, NATO).

It is technically possible to convert an LHD to RHD, but this is costly and complex. It is better to source a vehicle directly in the right configuration.
