LHD (Left-Hand Drive) refers to a vehicle whose driver's position is on the left. It is the standard configuration in France, continental Europe, French-speaking Africa and most countries in the world.
When buying an ex-army vehicle for export, the steering side is an essential criterion. African countries that drive on the right (driver's seat on the left) require LHD vehicles, while countries that drive on the left (United Kingdom, Australia, India…) require RHD.
The majority of Lys Tout Terrain's stock is LHD, originating from French and continental European armies. We always specify the steering side for each vehicle.
